How can I create CNAME DNS record?

There are a lot of DNS providers in the world. And each of them have own DNS management interface. Therefore we can't give you recommendations in general case. You can find instructions for some major DNS providers below.

Instructions for CNAME record creation at GoDaddy

  1. Login to GoDaddy
  2. Select `Domains > My Domains' from top menu
  3. Click your domain name in domain list
  4. Click `Total DNS Control and MX Records'
  5. To use domain name in the form MyDomain.com find record with @ in Host column in A(Host) or CNAMES(Aliases) section and click [x] - Delete (if record exists)
  6. To use domain name in the form www.MyDomain.com find record with www in Host column in A(Host) or CNAMES(Aliases) section and click [x] - Delete (if record exists)
  7. To use domain name in the form subdomain.MyDomain.com find record with subdomain in Host column in A(Host) or CNAMES(Aliases) section and click [x] - Delete (if record exists)
  8. Click `Add new CNAME record' (You may need to wait until previous request will be completed)
  9. In the form opened enter the following values:
    • Enter an Alias Name: @ or www or subdomain (See description above)
    • Points To Host Name: www.storebrander.com.
    • TTL: 1 day
    Click OK

You may need to wait up to 24 hours before your changes will be propagated over Internet.

Ipconfig /flushdns command in Windows command prompt may speed up the process in some cases.

I have aStore in IFRAME. How can I switch to StoreBrander?

If you have aStore in IFRAME it is very simple to switch to StoreBrander.
