We added new powerful feature to StoreBrander service: external html injection. Using the feature you can inject html from any website into your branded store pages. You can use new <inject src="http://...." /> tag in head extension and in branded store template for the purpose. To make html injections dependent from branded store page you can include {BrandedStoreUrl} substitution into url of <inject /> tag.

03/10/2009: www.MyDomain.com/MyDomain.com behavior changed

Taking into consideration numerous requests of our subscribers we changed StoreBrander's behaviour for www.MyDomain.com and MyDomain.com (with and without www) domain names.

If you created www.MyDomain.com branded store and pointed both www.MyDomain.com and MyDomain.com DNS domain names to www.storebrander.com, urls beginning from MyDomain.com are redirected to www.MyDomain.com with 301 (Permanent Redirect) code. This is SEO recommended behavior.

If you created both www.MyDomain.com and MyDomain.com branded stores and created corresponding DNS records the stores work independently and can have different parameters and templates.

You allowed to have branded stores with MyDomain.com domain name still but requests for www.MyDomain.com (if www.MyDomain.com branded store is not created explicitly) cause redirect to www.storebrander.com.
